Providers

Providers can identify Maryland Health Insurance Plan (MHIP) members by the MHIP logo on the front of the member's ID card.

MHIP members may have a CareFirst BlueChoice HMO Plan, HealthyBlue or a BluePreferred PPO Plan with a deductible. To obtain eligibility, benefits and claim information for MHIP members, please use the same methods you currently use for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and CareFirst BlueChoice plans:
